## Description

Terrasan is a South African investment group headquartered in Cape Town and incorporated in 1963. Its founding objective is to create wealth for stakeholders by adding value to Southern Africa’s natural resources and investing in productive assets and sustainable development. The group holds investments across pelagic fishing, mariculture, aquaculture and property, with a focus on businesses connected to food production and marine resources.

Terrasan’s portfolio includes Aqunion, a South African abalone farming business formed from Roman Bay Sea Farm, Aquafarm Development and SPP Canning. Saldanha Protein produces Saldanha Pilchards, as well as fish meal and fish oil for local and export markets through West Point Processors. Marifeed manufactures Abfeed, a specialised, water-stable aquafeed designed to support cost-effective abalone growth and used by South African farmers.

The group also provides an investor centre with share-price and financial information, investment guidance and related resources. Terrasan communicates with stakeholders through company news and reporting on finance, sustainability and community programmes.
