## Description

Festa del Terrazel is a traditional popular celebration and a defining part of the Festa Major of Sant Llorenç d’Hortons, held every year on 10 August. Recognised as cultural heritage of the municipality, the festival has deep collective significance and brings residents and visitors together around local traditions. Its programme features 12 dances and 65 elements, with five hours of celebration, live music performed by 30 musicians, and the participation of around 150 people. Two active groups, the Colla Gegantera and the Colla de Bestiari, contribute to the festival and remain involved throughout the year. The organisation also shares the event’s history, origins, chronology and music, alongside news, a calendar of activities and information about other celebrations. Visitors can explore videos and a documentary about the festival, read press materials, contact the organisers, and find merchandise and forms through the website. Based at Carrer Major 45 in Sant Llorenç d’Hortons, Festa del Terrazel serves as both a cultural event and a community-led celebration rooted in local identity.
