About
Description
Terre Innue is an Indigenous production company based in Wendake, Quebec. Founded in 2010 by Ian Boyd and the late Réginald Vollant, Terre Innue is committed to producing high-quality projects in both documentary and fiction across various media platforms. Their primary objective is to promote and foster the development of an Indigenous media industry in order to celebrate and preserve the cultures and languages of the First Peoples.
Additionally, Terre Innue aims to contribute to the training of the next generation of Indigenous media professionals. With a focus on showcasing the Innu culture and traditions, Terre Innue uses new digital formats to share the stories of the First Peoples of Quebec. Through their projects, they also strive to provide employment opportunities and professional training within the Indigenous community.
Terre Innue's diverse portfolio includes award-winning documentaries such as Innu Nikamu: Resist and Sing and Je m'appelle humain, as well as upcoming productions like Nitassinan and Dans un territoire près de chez vous. Despite the loss of Réginald Vollant in 2018, his legacy and vision continue to guide Terre Innue in their mission to bring positive change through cultural engagement. Visit their website at www.
