## Description

The Terry Fox Foundation is a Canadian charitable organization inspired by Terry Fox’s effort to raise awareness and support for cancer research. Its mission is to help pursue his dream of ending cancer by bringing communities together and funding innovative, high-impact research. The Foundation works alongside the Terry Fox Research Institute, a partnership intended to maximize the impact of donations and advance research.

People can support the cause in several ways, including making one-time or monthly donations, leaving a legacy gift, volunteering, or fundraising through a Terry Fox Run, school run, or other event. Donors can also contribute to a student, school, run participant, or team. The organization shares information about how generosity supports people facing cancer and offers stories of hope and updates on its impact. Its online shop features branded merchandise, including limited-edition collections, with purchases supporting cancer research in Canada. Through fundraising, community participation, giving opportunities, and merchandise, the Terry Fox Foundation invites people across Canada to help continue Terry’s marathon against cancer and move closer to a future without the disease.
