## Description

Testnet Scan is an open-source block explorer dedicated to Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Monero test networks. It helps developers and enthusiasts inspect blockchain activity without confusing test coins with assets that have real-world value. The service provides tools to explore blocks, transactions, addresses, mempool activity, mining, and fees across supported networks.

Testnet Scan covers Bitcoin testnet4, Litecoin testnet with MimbleWimble Extension Blocks (MWEB), and Monero testnet and stagenet. Its Litecoin features include MWEB peg-in and peg-out information and a supply chart. For Monero, it offers visibility into transaction internals, including rings, RingCT, view-key output decoding, and payment proofs. Network availability is shown on the site and can vary; the Bitcoin testnet4 node is currently reported as unreachable.

The project is built with PHP and SQLite and is licensed under AGPL-3.0. It is designed for self-hosting, uses a strict content security policy, and states that it does not track visitors. An Esplora and mempool.space-compatible API is also available.
