## Description

TEVANUA is an Israeli social-impact organization working to make beaches, forests, deserts, national parks, and nature reserves accessible to people with mobility disabilities. It operates a nationwide network of all-terrain mobility chairs, designed to help users travel beyond paved paths and enjoy outdoor experiences with greater freedom and dignity. The initiative serves people with mobility disabilities, including injured IDF veterans, and aims to make access to nature possible without requiring individuals to buy or transport specialized equipment.

Users can book an all-terrain chair through the organization’s app and collect it from docking stations located at outdoor destinations. The chairs are charged and secured at the stations, while personal belongings and users’ wheelchairs can be locked safely during an outing. TEVANUA uses a ride-sharing model: charitable donations fund the chairs, and local government covers operating costs, helping keep experiences nearly free for users. Through this combination of mobility technology, local partnerships, and philanthropy, TEVANUA seeks to expand outdoor inclusion and enable more people to explore, connect with nature, and participate in community life.
