Tevel B'Tzedek is a brand that is dedicated to creating Israeli and Jewish leadership passionate about repairing the world, both locally and globally. They work in collaboration with rural communities to enhance their livelihood, capacity, and well-being. Their ultimate goal is to discover and disseminate the most effective and sustainable methods for ending poverty and environmental devastation, as well as spreading knowledge and empowerment.

Tevel is committed to addressing extreme poverty at its source, particularly in subsistence farming villages in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. They have worked with over 50,000 people in rural communities in Nepal, Haiti, and Burundi, mobilizing youth, women, and small-holder farmers to strengthen communities and help them transition from subsistence farming to new means of livelihood, such as small-scale commercial farming. Over the past decade, Tevel has made a significant impact.

They have worked with thousands of young people, inspired new village agro-entrepreneurs, supported farmers in small-scale horticulture projects, established village savings groups, empowered women to participate in communal life, and more. They have also provided aid and support to tens of thousands of earthquake victims in Nepal. Founded by Micha Odenheimer, Tevel B'Tzedek began as a program in Kathmandu, Nepal, where Israeli backpackers volunteered with local NGOs.

It quickly shifted its focus to helping subsistence farming villages, and over the years, it has grown into a movement with over 1,500 young Israelis and Jews who have participated in service-learning programs. Tevel B'Tzedek continues to make a difference by partnering with local organizations in rural communities, using a comprehensive approach to poverty transformation.
