The Board administers several prepaid tuition plans, including the Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan, the Texas Tuition Promise Fund, the Texas College Savings Plan, and the Texas LoneStar 529 Plan. Additionally, they manage the Texas ABLE Program, a savings plan designed for individuals with disabilities. The Board also offers the Texas Save and Match Program, which awards scholarships to eligible individuals from allocated funds. Comprised of the Texas Comptroller, appointees from the Governor and Lieutenant Governor, and individuals with expertise in higher education or finance, the Board holds regular quarterly meetings in Austin.
