## Description

Texas Umpire Development & Camps (TUDC) provides professional-grade baseball umpire training in Texas for officials seeking to improve and advance. Serving high school, college, and professional-level development, TUDC offers instruction grounded in current rules, standards, and mechanics. Its programs address precise positioning, movement, coverage, communication, judgment, and game management in both two-umpire and three-umpire systems.

TUDC’s camps combine classroom learning, video review, on-field drills, and simulated game situations. Participants receive structured evaluation and practical feedback from experienced collegiate and professional umpires, helping them identify areas for improvement and prepare for greater opportunities. A featured four-day camp focuses on the three-umpire system, including CCA mechanics, rotations, responsibilities, and crew communication, with particular relevance to postseason high school assignments and advancement into college baseball.

The organization also offers rules education, including a six-session Wednesday evening class scheduled at Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, from September 23 to October 28, 2026. Umpires can explore the curriculum, instructor information, camp calendar, and registration options through TUDC.
