## Description

TexMesoNet is an interactive weather-mapping application provided by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). It brings together observations from selected weather stations and rain gauges across Texas, helping users explore current conditions and recent trends on a statewide map. Available information includes precipitation totals across multiple time periods, temperature, wind, humidity, soil moisture and temperature, river flow and stage, solar radiation, and radar imagery. Users can view time-series graphs, download historical data, and examine forecasts and alerts from the National Weather Service, including precipitation forecasts, significant weather outlooks, hazards, and warnings.

The application also offers map layers for rivers and reservoirs, watersheds, counties, aquifers, drought conditions, and other water-related regions. Users can filter observations by mesonet, with data sources that include TWDB, the National Weather Service and Federal Aviation Administration, regional authorities, local flood-control agencies, research networks, and maritime monitoring systems. Map options include topographic and street views, US customary or metric units, and tools for sharing map settings.
