## Description

The Gavin Glynn Foundation is an Irish charitable organisation that supports families of children with cancer when specialist treatment is not available in Ireland. Guided by the belief that every child deserves the best care, wherever it can be found, the Foundation helps families manage the practical and financial challenges of travelling overseas for treatment. Its Travel Assist Fund is a central part of this work, providing assistance with the costs and arrangements involved in seeking care abroad. The organisation also shares information about childhood cancer and the signs to look out for, and introduces children and families it is helping through personal stories on its website. Donations, fundraising events and volunteer involvement help support its mission. The Foundation provides information about its governance, annual accounts and fundraising standards, reflecting its commitment to transparency. Based in Kilcoole, County Wicklow, the Gavin Glynn Foundation works to ease the burden on families navigating overseas treatment and to help them focus on their child’s care.
