## Description

The Thyroid, Head, and Neck Cancer (THANC) Foundation plays a crucial role in raising awareness and providing resources for individuals affected by thyroid cancers. Partnering with Lilly Oncology, THANC is dedicated to promoting education around biomarker testing, especially during January's Thyroid Awareness Month. By advocating for testing, THANC aims to improve diagnosis accuracy and enhance treatment decisions for the 44,280 new cases of thyroid cancer reported in the U.S. in 2021.

THANC offers a range of services, including comprehensive guides on cancer types, diagnostics, and treatment options. Their resources encompass everything from postsurgery dietary guidance to supportive care for patients and caregivers, featuring expert advice, survivor stories, and kid-friendly educational content. The foundation's commitment to outreach includes downloadable fact sheets, infographics, and access to clinical trials, all designed to empower patients and their families on their cancer journey. With a focus on community support and education, THANC is transforming the experience of those battling thyroid and neck cancers.
