## Description

THAT Corporation, based in Milford, MA, is a leading brand that specializes in providing technology solutions to design engineers. Their offerings include analog integrated circuits and licensed TV-audio intellectual property. The company is renowned for its line of integrated circuit voltage controlled amplifiers (VCAs), which are widely used in the professional audio industry. Founded in 1989 by senior managers and engineers from dbx, THAT Corporation has a rich heritage of innovation and engineering excellence. They have expanded their product range to include integrated circuits, dbx-tv® audio licensing, and foundry services. THAT Corporation's current design efforts focus on analog audio input and output ICs, rms detectors, and Analog Engines. They employ advanced process technology, called dielectric isolation (DI) fabrication, for manufacturing their components. This technology ensures higher device-to-device breakdown voltages, improved isolation between transistors, and faster speeds. THAT Corporation operates its own semiconductor fabrication facility in California, making it the only IC production facility primarily dedicated to high-performance audio components. The company holds an extensive patent portfolio in TV audio technology and licenses their technology worldwide. They maintain a strong presence in Silicon Valley and the West Coast, where many of their major customers are located. THAT Corporation is committed to providing high-quality engineering for audio electronics and serves as an active participant in the audio industry. They continue to provide integrated and licensed electronics to leading professional audio and industrial manufacturers globally.
