## Description

Thayer Coggin is a family-owned modern furniture maker based in High Point, North Carolina, where it has handcrafted furniture since 1953. The company combines classic modern design, premium materials, and skilled bench-making, with a legacy shaped by founder Thayer Coggin and designer Milo Baughman. Thayer Coggin is the exclusive maker of Baughman’s pioneering midcentury modern designs, offered alongside contemporary and original collections.

Its range includes sofas and loveseats, sectionals and modular seating, lounge chairs, swivel chairs, recliners, chaises, dining chairs, barstools, ottomans, tables, and storage. Upholstered pieces are made to order, with hundreds of fabric and leather choices; clients may also supply their own upholstery material. Many designs offer wood or metal finish options, allowing customers to tailor pieces to their interiors. For modular sectionals, customers can create configurations using the company’s unit diagrams. Thayer Coggin also offers an online upholstery visualizer to preview fabric and leather choices, plus an Express Lane selection of popular items scheduled for production in four weeks after order receipt and credit approval.
