## Description

The Lisboan is a British international school in Lisbon, Portugal, and part of the Artemis Education group. Founded in September 2025, it offers education from Early Years through secondary and is currently open to students from FS1 to Year 10. Its academic programme follows the Cambridge International Curriculum, with progression to Cambridge IGCSEs and the planned introduction of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in 2027.

The school combines academic learning with a supportive, inclusive community focused on students’ intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. Its “City as Our Classroom” approach connects lessons with Lisbon’s culture, neighbourhoods and natural environment. Students can take part in co-curricular and after-school opportunities spanning sport, music, gardening, outdoor learning and climbing, supported by partnerships with local organisations. The school also highlights sustainability, pastoral care and values including kindness, curiosity, connection, resilience and integrity. The Lisboan is a member of COBIS and states that it will work towards CIS and WASC accreditation.
