## Description

The Luminous Pets is a woman-owned, family-operated business based in Portland, Oregon, founded by Josie and Isiah. Created to solve the problem of traditional bandanas fitting uncomfortably on fluffy dogs and cats, the brand designs stylish, comfortable pet accessories and handcrafted toys. Its snap-on bandanas feature three metal snaps for adjustability and curved or cuffed necklines intended to reduce bunching. Styles include frayed and reversible bandanas for cats and dogs, as well as cat collars and bow ties.

The Luminous Pets also makes cat toys with organic catnip and valerian root, a blend intended to engage cats that may not respond to catnip alone. Its range includes kickers, wool toys, refillable play mats, catnip blends and sprays, bundles, and gift sets. The company describes its approach as slow fashion, emphasizing quality materials, durability, comfort, and designs made to last beyond changing trends. It also supports local shelters through fundraisers and donations of catnip blend. Customers can shop seasonal collections, explore new arrivals, read reviews, and find the brand at events.
