## Description

The Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor is a renowned civil society initiative that has been diligently researching and reporting on the global issues surrounding landmines, cluster munitions, and other explosive remnants of war since 1999 and 2010 respectively. Serving as the monitoring mechanism for the Mine Ban Treaty and the Convention on Cluster Munitions, this initiative is a beacon of civil society-based verification in similar contexts worldwide. The Monitor's work is supported by a diverse network of individuals, campaigns, and organizations from around the globe. The comprehensive reports cover a wide range of topics, including policy developments, clearance efforts, casualties, victim assistance, and support for mine action. With an extensive archive dating back to 1999, interactive maps, and various resources for victim assistance, the Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor is a valuable resource for staying informed and involved in the ongoing efforts to eliminate these deadly remnants of war.
