## Description

The Monster Times is an independent digital archive dedicated to preserving and sharing the magazine of the same name, published from 1972 to 1976. Created by Kevin, the project grew from an interest in Phil Seuling and the comic-book community of the era, including its conventions, swap meets, and networks for helping enthusiasts and businesses connect. The archive brings together individual issues and indexes, giving visitors an organized way to explore the magazine’s contents. Its collection includes issues 1 through 48, four special editions, and a catalog, with a corresponding index listed for each item. The site aims to gather missing issues and improve the quality of available scans, since existing copies vary and may have incomplete pages. It also presents the project as an effort to make historical creative work more accessible online and to encourage similar preservation initiatives, ideally in partnership with creators when material is not in the public domain.
