## Description

THE TONI is an exclusive residential development on Sylt, created by bringing together a historic brick villa and a carefully designed contemporary extension. The project takes its name from the former Restaurant Toni, which operated for more than 40 years as a popular meeting place and was founded by Ingo Verdel’s uncle, Toni Rupret. Built around the original villa dating from 1888, the development preserves the building’s distinctive red brick façade, decorative window arches and rounded bay, while complementing them with modern apartments and architectural details inspired by the original.

Completed in 2023, THE TONI comprises 15 furnished apartments ranging from 40 to 95 square metres. The new building features a stepped arrangement of residences, a spacious roof terrace and a clear, symmetrical design. Together, the old and new structures create a distinctive ensemble that respects the site’s history while introducing contemporary architecture. The project was developed through the shared vision of Oliver Densch and Ingo Verdel, with Oliver Densch leading the work. The site’s available residences are fully sold.
