## Description

The 9/11 Legacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001, while educating future generations about the profound impacts of that day. Its mission emphasizes remembrance, unity, and service, aiming to instill a greater understanding of American history and the values that arose from the tragedy. The foundation oversees various initiatives, including the Legacy Stories Wall, which shares personal narratives from victims, survivors, and first responders, ensuring that their stories are not forgotten. As the organization prepares for the significant 25th commemoration in 2026, it emphasizes the need for nationwide awareness and remembrance efforts, particularly in schools where curriculum connections to 9/11 are often lacking. Through educational programming, commemorative events at memorial sites, and community engagement, the foundation encourages Americans to reflect on the sacrifices made, while reinforcing the importance of national security and vigilance against threats. Join the 9/11 Legacy Foundation in its commitment to safeguard these memories for future generations.
