## Description

Theater of War Productions is a renowned brand that collaborates with top actors from film, theater, and television to bring powerful and thought-provoking dramatic readings to the stage. They present a wide range of plays, from classical Greek tragedies to modern and contemporary works. What sets them apart is their unique approach of following these performances with town hall-style discussions that tackle social issues head-on. These discussions encourage audience members to share their perspectives and experiences, fostering empathy, compassion, and a deeper understanding of complex themes. Theater of War Productions actively partners with various organizations and government agencies to reach communities directly, including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the U.S. Department of Defense. They also work with universities, museums, theaters, veterans' organizations, advocacy groups, and more. Notable artists such as Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, and Jeffrey Wright have performed with Theater of War Productions. Since its establishment in 2009, the brand has facilitated events for over 500,000 people worldwide, spanning more than 100 countries. Their impactful programs cover a wide range of topics, including the climate crisis, racialized police violence, caregiving and death, war and mental health, and many others. Through their recent project, The Oedipus Project, Theater of War Productions has leveraged technology to connect with audiences virtually and engage in powerful conversations about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change. With their innovative and inclusive approach, Theater of War Productions continues to create a platform for meaningful dialogue and social change.
