TNL is a professional theatre company that has been producing remarkable theatre experiences in western Newfoundland since 1979. With a focus on creating and developing new plays that reflect the lives and diversity of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, TNL also presents plays from the national and international repertoire that resonate with the local community. One of their standout events is the Gros Morne Theatre Festival, a 14-16 week summer repertory season featuring 4-6 plays, along with a visiting artist series and a workshop development week. With two performances nightly in their state-of-the-art facility, The Nurse Myra Bennett Centre for the Performing Arts, TNL employs around 40 staff members annually, including actors, technicians, designers, and more. TNL's plays have reached audiences far and wide, touring regionally, provincially, nationally, and even internationally. As a non-profit charitable organization, TNL relies on the support of governments, industry partners, and individual sponsors and patrons to offer subsidized tickets to their loyal audience.
