## Description

The Author Spot (TAS) provides cloud hosting, promotion, and technology support for authors who want to build and manage their author businesses without handling every technical detail themselves. Its membership platforms serve authors at different stages, from newcomers beginning their authorpreneur journey to established writers seeking a stronger, coordinated brand. Options include The Launching Spot, Spot’s Choice, The Pro Spot, and The Custom Spot, with services tailored to authors’ experience, audience, and marketing needs.

Platform features include author websites, built-in online stores, and marketing through TAS’s social media network. Store listings can offer physical books, ebooks, and audiobooks, with flip-book previews on product pages. Authors can configure landing pages with features such as book descriptions, biographies, booking schedules, release announcements, and contact forms. TAS also offers promotional audio and video production to support vlogging and podcasting, and says it sets up and manages the technology for members. Beyond its platform services, The Author Spot publishes a blog and author-related content and operates Spot’s Curiosity Shop, which sells author-themed merchandise in various designs, colors, and sizes.
