## Description

The Back Store is a shopping and information retailer specializing in ergonomic comfort, mobility, and wellness products. Opened in 1996, the company offers office chairs, massage chairs, recliners, lounge chairs, sofas, cushions, pillows, back supports, and related accessories and supplies. Its range also includes lift chairs, zero-gravity recliners, massagers, hot and cold therapy products, EMS/TENS units, mobility scooters, and power wheelchairs.

Products are selected by Dr. Thomas B. Trafecanty, a practicing chiropractor in San Diego, California. The Back Store says it prioritizes quality and customer service, with products offered at prices stated to be 10 to 50 percent below retail. Most items are stocked and ready to ship from its San Diego-area warehouse. The retailer carries brands including Stressless, Human Touch, Humanscale, Steelcase, and Golden Technologies, and provides parts and service. Customers can shop online, contact the store by phone or email, or visit its Poway, California address. The Back Store also shares product and company information through its blog and newsletter.
