## Description

BandGap is a lighting-controls simulator created by Art, Design & Marketing, Inc. It combines photorealistic virtual environments with a live control network, allowing people to experience and operate lighting systems without a showroom, shipped hardware, or risk of damage. Users can open the real control app, commission a room, adjust individual luminaires, create groups and scenes, and build schedules while seeing changes rendered in context.

The platform is launching with a Casambi-enabled Office environment featuring workstations, conference areas, two camera views, seven scenes, a 24-hour schedule, and interactive physical switches. Guided lessons help specifiers, installers, clients, and end users learn commissioning, grouping, and scene-building hands-on. Additional environments for hospitality, retail, arts and culture, education, worship, healthcare, residential, and outdoor spaces are planned, along with other lighting-control systems.

BandGap also offers bespoke simulators based on submitted spaces or 3D models, interactive displays for keypad and control interfaces, and fixture showcases for luminaire manufacturers. Users can connect with a local Casambi representative to explore turning a virtual design into an installed project.
