## Description

BCAT® provides a science-backed cognitive ecosystem for healthcare professionals who assess and support people with cognitive impairment, particularly older adults with related functional vulnerabilities. Its resources bring together the BCAT® Test System, clinical applications, and interventions to help providers characterize cognitive status and inform care decisions. The computerized assessment tools include the BCAT® and alternate forms, the BCAT-SF®, BADS®, BCIS®, KPT®, and VPJ®. Additional offerings include the Columbia Behavior Scale 8, BEAT-SA™ for Dementia, the Mansbach Hazard Index, and the Digital Executive Functions Test.

BCAT® assessments use scores from cognitive tasks to interpret an individual’s current level of cognitive function. They are intended to support clinical decision-making, not to diagnose conditions or serve as stand-alone diagnostic devices, and should be administered by qualified health professionals. The ecosystem also offers digital working-memory exercises, prescriptive treatment protocols, a cognitive home exercise program for professionals, licensing, and educational resources. BCAT® serves care settings including skilled nursing facilities, senior living, home care, and acute care.
