## Description

The Behaviour Hive is a private child behaviour psychology practice based in Donadea, County Kildare, serving families in Kildare, Dublin, Meath, Laois and Offaly, with online consultations available nationwide across Ireland. Led by Catherine (Katie) Smyth, MSc, BCBA, a PSI Chartered Behaviour Psychologist, the practice offers neuro-affirming, evidence-based support for children, young people and their families. No formal diagnosis is required, and support can usually begin within days. The Behaviour Hive views behaviour as communication and focuses on practical strategies that help parents, teachers and carers build lasting skills and confidence.

Services include Functional Behaviour Assessments, written Behaviour Support Plans, individual child and parent sessions, and multi-week mentoring for concerns such as anxiety, emotional regulation, routines and family stability. The practice also provides school in-service days, EPV training for teachers, behavioural input for public-sector teams and care homes, and clinical supervision for ABA master’s students. Families can book a free, no-obligation 30-minute consultation. Published pricing is available, including a comprehensive assessment and support package with an instalment option.
