## Description

BIMSphere is an African digital built-environment institution developing open digital infrastructure for construction, with a focus on Francophone West Africa. Its platform aims to connect the full lifecycle of buildings, helping preserve and use building information from initial capture through operation and future renovation. The ecosystem brings together open standards such as IFC, BCF, IDS and MVD, supporting data that can be shared across tools, checked against requirements and retained beyond software cycles.

BIMSphere Technologies develops solutions for reality capture, including LiDAR, photogrammetry and drones, as well as Scan-to-BIM, OpenBIM models, digital twins and building intelligence. BIMSphere Consulting supports project owners, ministries, developers, design firms and construction companies with OpenBIM adoption, information governance, ISO 19650 implementation, digital twins and digital transformation strategies. BIMSphere Academy is presented as a pillar focused on training leaders in digital construction in Africa. The wider vision links building data, automated verification and data-informed decisions to more interoperable and sustainable construction. BIMSphere says it is preparing to become a buildingSMART Authorized Training Center.
