## Description

The Black Feminist Project is dedicated to enriching the lives of Black women, girls, and non-men, particularly focusing on mother-led families. With a mission centered on restoring agency, justice, and joy, the organization offers transformative programs that emphasize food and reproductive justice. Through initiatives like Sis, Do You! and the Guerilla Girls project, participants engage in discussions about race, gender, and class, empowering them to embrace their leadership potential and take charge of their narratives.

The project also operates community spaces such as Black Joy Farm and the Alice Fields Community Center, which serve as vital hubs for connection and growth. In addition, the Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom Boutique and Mama Tanya's Farm Fresh Market Box support economic empowerment and access to healthy food choices. By fostering a sense of community and encouraging activism, the Black Feminist Project plays a crucial role in advocating for marginalized genders and their families in the Bronx and beyond.
