The Bucharest Hackathon is an exciting and dynamic weekend-long event that brings together programmers from Romania and the region to work on groundbreaking software projects using the latest technologies. Participants can register as a team of 2 to 4 members or join individually and be matched with compatible teammates. Registration is free, but spots are limited, so don't miss out! During the Hackathon, participants can choose to work on their own ideas or get inspiration from the provided categories of blockchain, AI, and devtools. Prizes are awarded to the top three teams, with $5,000 for the first-place team, $3,000 for the second-place team, and $2,000 for the third-place team. To make the most of the event, it is recommended to attend physically as it offers benefits such as connecting with like-minded individuals, receiving guidance from mentors, and impressing the juries. Food and drinks will be provided, and participants can also bring their own food. Don't forget to bring your valid ID, laptop, phone, and any hardware you need for your project. With a focus on original code and solutions for civic problems, participants are encouraged to push their boundaries and showcase their coding skills. Mentors will be available to provide assistance throughout the event. By pushing the boundaries of technology and writing history one line of code at a time, participants have the opportunity to win cash prizes and create a lasting impact.
