## Description

The Career Development Company (CDC) supports individuals and organisations to navigate career decisions, transitions and development in ways that feel authentic and aligned with their values. Its work focuses on building adaptability, clarity and satisfying careers, while helping people connect learning with employment and future possibilities.

CDC offers career coaching and counselling, mentoring, professional supervision, and training in effective career conversations through its RECI model. Individuals receive tailored support to understand their strengths, explore career direction and labour-market options, set realistic goals, and develop an effective career profile. For employers, government agencies, education providers and not-for-profit organisations, CDC designs and strengthens career development programmes, supports workforce change and outplacement, and provides workshops, seminars and advice. It also assists managers and staff with career and learning plans, and helps educators integrate the world of work into learning.

The company provides professional development and programme-design support for career practitioners. Through gifting, sponsorship and partially funded initiatives, it also makes career services and community workshops available to people who may not otherwise be able to afford them.
