# Center Cam - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `thecentercam.com` - **Founded:** 2021 - **Employees:** 2+ - **Company kind:** PRIVATELY HELD ## Description Center Cam is a brand that offers a unique solution to the common issue of eye-contact during video-conferencing. It all started when Ian Foster, a social work counselor, faced this problem while working remotely due to COVID-19. He realized that traditional screen-edge webcams created a dilemma where eye-contact had to be made by looking away from the person you wanted to talk to. Determined to find a solution, Ian developed prototypes throughout 2020 and launched Center Cam. Unlike other webcams on the market, Center Cam is small enough to be placed in the middle of the screen, allowing for on-screen eye-contact. Center Cam's mission is to improve connections and foster meaningful interactions, and they are excited to offer this new possibility to customers. Center Cam is now available for purchase on Indiegogo, so get yours today and enhance your video-conferencing experience.
