## Description

The Church of Alvis, established in August 2003, began in a modest living room on Naboo and quickly became a renowned entity within the Star Wars Galaxies community. This unique guild has a distinct character, defined by its humor, camaraderie, and a love for the absurd, drawing inspiration from the eccentric teachings of the Feast of Alvis from the animated series Sealab 2021. Members and fans alike celebrate a playful yet passionate approach to gaming, bonding over shared experiences and a taste for adventure. As Star Wars: The Old Republic emerged, the Church of Alvis reunited, continuing to spread their quirky philosophy and providing a social hub for gamers. While primarily focused on community engagement, they also facilitate discussions, gaming operations, and a variety of humorous content through forums and publications. The Church remains a noncommercial entity, demonstrating the power of friendship and entertainment in the gaming world, thereby leaving a lasting mark on its members and followers.
