## Description

Dan Mickle is a sport and performance psychology professional and founder of Soul Performance Academy, where he helps athletes, coaches, teams, and other performers build practical skills for handling pressure. Drawing on more than 30 years of volleyball coaching and graduate work in sports psychology and learning technologies, Mickle focuses on helping people reset, direct their attention, and take the next controllable action when performance matters. He is pursuing a doctorate in Health Sciences, with a focus on attention, pressure, and neurodivergent athletes.

The academy offers personalized one-on-one coaching, custom-designed individual and team training, boot camps, webinars, and other learning experiences delivered in formats suited to clients’ schedules. Core training areas include mental performance skills, team culture and leadership, and personal growth and life skills. Mickle also offers speaking and volleyball consulting, and shares guidance through articles, a podcast, videos, published works, and other resources. His approach emphasizes usable systems tailored to each person and environment rather than generic plans or motivational hype.
