## Description

The College Funding Coach is an education and financial-planning resource founded in 2002 to help families understand the complex strategies involved in paying for college. Its mission is to make higher education more affordable while helping parents protect their retirement plans. The organization serves families, schools, and community groups through its “Little-Known Secrets of Paying for College” workshops, which explain ways to save and pay for college, assess financial strategies such as 529 plans, plan for multiple children attending college, and recover out-of-pocket costs.

The College Funding Coach also offers personalized support through its coaches and enhanced college planning services. Families can access tools including a Financial Aid and Student Aid Index calculator, a College Money Report, a college savings estimator, and resources for comparing 529 plans. Its educational materials include webinars, a podcast, a blog, a glossary, FAQs, videos, and a workshop book list. The organization reports partnering with more than 748 schools, delivering over 4,000 workshops, and serving more than 134,000 families.
