## Description

Wild Rice Retreat is a nature-based retreat destination near Bayfield, Wisconsin, set among the pines and shores of Lake Superior. Founded around nourishment, expression, and movement, it offers a peaceful setting for restorative experiences and deeper connection. Its Valentine’s weekend couples retreat, facilitated by Dina and Michael Clabaugh of The Connecting Couple, combines relationship education with leisure and time outdoors. Guided sessions explore communication, emotional safety, vulnerability, intimacy, and connection, while offering practical tools such as Imago dialogue and relationship repair strategies. Couples can also enjoy hands-on activities, yoga, downtime, and a special food and wine pairing. The package includes lodging in The Nest, locally sourced meals, access to retreat amenities such as a 24-hour sauna, and a curated welcome bundle. Dina is a licensed clinical social worker, and Michael is a couple therapist with advanced training in relationship dynamics. Together, they create a supportive, engaging environment for partners at different stages of their relationships.
