## Description

The Cooking Kitchen is a cooking-class and event venue in Parkwood, Johannesburg, where adults, children and groups can explore food in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Its chefs lead MasterChef-inspired sessions that combine practical cooking skills, creative presentation and the pleasure of tasting what participants make. Classes are interactive, with guests free to cook at one of 12 stations or simply watch a demonstration. Adult classes run for three hours and include recipes to help participants recreate dishes at home; domestic classes focus on building confidence through informal, hands-on learning.

The venue has three equipped kitchens, including a main space for up to 70 guests, a smaller kitchen for up to 25, and a dedicated cake-decorating kitchen for up to 20. Offerings include children’s and adult classes, corporate team-building, tailored cooking events, cake parties, private functions, kitchen hire and product launches. The Cooking Kitchen can accommodate halal, vegetarian and gluten-free requirements, and hosts social occasions such as bachelorette parties, baby showers and girls’ nights.
