## Description

The Creative Independent is an exceptional brand that serves as a valuable resource for creative individuals. It offers a wide range of emotional and practical guidance to support and inspire artists in their creative endeavors. Published ad-free by Kickstarter, a public-benefit corporation, The Creative Independent produces insightful interviews, wisdom, and guides that shed light on the challenges and triumphs of living a creative life. These resources are shared by working artists, including writers, musicians, designers, and visual artists, among others. The brand's logo is a spiral, symbolizing the concept of circling back to core ideas over time, a process all creative people experience. In addition, The Creative Independent's mascot is a snail. Snails possess spiral-shaped shells and excrete slime, which aids them in gliding over rough terrain. This slime also creates a unique map of the snail's path through time, prompting contemplation about its current location and future journey. The Creative Independent publishes engaging content on a weekly basis, featuring interviews, tips, essays, and how-to guides. These resources cover a diverse range of topics such as managing creative anxiety, embarking on new projects, creating opportunities, and finding time for creativity. Whether you are seeking inspiration, guidance, or practical tips, The Creative Independent is an invaluable companion on your creative journey.
