## Description

The Dao Bums is an online community forum for discussion of Daoist teachings, spiritual traditions, personal practice, and related interests. Its main Daoist section covers the Daodejing, Zhuangzi, Yijing, Confucian philosophy, Daoist textual studies, and systems and teachers, alongside practices such as Taiji, Qigong, Bagua, Neigong, and Zuowang. The forum also hosts conversations about Buddhism, Hinduism, esoteric and occult subjects, Abrahamic religions, indigenous traditions, and other spiritual paths. Dedicated spaces support group studies, healing discussions, and broad-ranging conversation in its informal “Rabbit Hole.” New members are invited to introduce themselves in a welcome area, while separate sections provide forum rules, moderation information, and technical support. The community also offers gender-focused cultivation discussions and private areas for women, men, and non-binary members, with access handled through the forum. Overall, The Dao Bums provides a member-driven space to explore spiritual ideas and practices, exchange perspectives, and connect with others in a respectful, open-ended setting.
