The Dapper Vicar is a bespoke tailoring brand based in Cypress, Texas, creating custom suits, sport coats and waistcoats. Founded on the belief that fine tailoring should be more accessible, the brand offers Savile Row–inspired craftsmanship, with two-piece suits starting at $750. Each garment is made from a pattern drafted specifically for its wearer, rather than adapted from a standard block.

Clients choose their cloth, cut, lapels, pockets, buttons and lining during a personal consultation. Suits are constructed one at a time in the brand’s workshops overseas, then hand-finished and pressed in Houston. Natural floating horsehair canvas is standard, with no fusing, glue or synthetic fibers inside the suit. The house English drape is designed for Texas heat and year-round wear; a separate Italian-inspired bespoke cut is also available.

Fabric options include the brand’s own Allen & Co. collections and Italian wool from Drago, alongside cloth from mills such as Vitale Barberis Canonico. The process includes in-person measurement, a fitting and final hand finishing.
