## Description

The DIMMI Project is a multilingual storytelling and language-learning publication built around a simple idea: connection matters more than perfection. Named after the Italian word dimmi, meaning “tell me,” it brings people, places, and cultures closer through stories that make language part of everyday life. Its holistic approach encourages readers to learn through curiosity and other people’s perspectives, rather than treating language as an isolated subject.

The project publishes original content in formats including short stories, essays, photography, and artwork, alongside reading, listening, and viewing features. Its Learn & Explore section offers language-focused material connected to themes such as food and music, with insights into vocabulary, expressions, and cultural context. Articles and interviews highlight how language intersects with community and daily experience around the world. DIMMI also invites readers to contribute ideas and get involved, and offers a monthly newsletter for language learners interested in exploring these connections. With an international outlook, the project aims to inspire more multilingual conversations and make the unfamiliar feel familiar.
