# Ealingbeaverproject - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `theealingbeaverproject.com` ## Description The Ealing Beaver Project is a community-led initiative based at Paradise Fields in Greenford, Ealing. As London’s first fully accessible urban beaver reintroduction site, it aims to bring people closer to nature and support coexistence between beavers and city communities. The project focuses on monitoring how beavers may help mitigate flooding in an urban catchment, improving habitat and biodiversity, and engaging local people with nature, conservation and nature-based solutions. Its longer-term biodiversity ambitions include the possible reintroduction of water voles, which are considered locally extinct. Visitors can explore the site through self-guided tours, learn about the project’s history and mission, and attend events. The website also shares updates, research, photographs, videos and information about the beavers and their habitat. Public engagement is central to the project, which connects residents with urban wildlife and the ecosystem services nature can provide. The initiative works with partners including Ealing Wildlife Group, Citizen Zoo, Friends of Horsenden and Ealing Council, and receives support from Beaver Trust and the Mayor of London. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/ealingbeavers) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/ealingbeaverproject) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/ealingwildlifegroup) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/ealingwildlifegroup) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idKxLADjn2/w/820/h/622/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791477121780) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idKxLADjn2/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791477124028) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Outer Space | #32373c | dark | | Silver | #c1c1c1 | light | ## Fonts - d-din_exp — asset _(custom)_ - d-din_exp — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
