## Description

The Emotional Gym is a platform designed to help people recognize, understand, and work through difficult emotions using short films. Its approach combines cinematic storytelling with guided emotional experiences, offering an alternative way to engage with feelings such as loneliness, rejection, loss, and not feeling good enough. Users choose a film related to what they are experiencing, watch a story intended to help the emotion build and release naturally, and then review data showing how their emotional state shifted. The goal is to support a more balanced mood and relaxed state while helping people practice emotional resilience over time, one film at a time. The Emotional Gym was created in response to the gap between people’s need for emotional support and the support they receive, as well as the challenge many face in completing therapy. The company is inviting people to join its early access community, which offers access to its first cinematic emotional experiences, invitations to pilot testing and research participation, and updates as the platform develops.
