## Description

The Fence Post is a renowned nationwide agricultural newspaper that reaches over 80,000 readers each week. Established in 1980 by Don McMillen as the Rocky Mountain Fence Post in Bellvue, Colo, it has since become a trusted source of agricultural news and information. Over the years, the paper has changed ownership, with Swift Communications acquiring it in November 1984 before being sold to The Ogden Newspapers in December 2021. The Fence Post provides a wide array of content catering to the agricultural industry, including advertising, auctions, obituaries, recipes, cartoons, event coverage, and human interest stories. Its weekly columnists, such as Baxter Black, Lee Pitts, Gwen Petterson, Mad Jack, and many others, offer insightful perspectives on farming, ranching, and livestock production. The newspaper serves as a valuable resource for the farming and ranching community, offering comprehensive market reports, ag calendar listings, auctions, and horse events every week. Additionally, it features special sections dedicated to real estate, breeders connections, summer events, and more. With a commitment to customer service and a dedication to the agricultural community, The Fence Post continues to be a beloved publication for both readers and advertisers alike.
