## Description

The Filtery is an educational digital platform focused on making non-toxic living simpler. Created and edited by Abbie Davidson, who brings nearly a decade of sustainability experience, the site shares well-researched, practical guidance to help people reduce exposure to environmental toxins in their bodies and homes. Its articles and shopping guides cover products and materials across body care, home, wardrobe, and children’s needs, including skincare, cosmetics, cleaning, furniture, kitchen goods, clothing, maternity essentials, and baby products.

Readers can explore product reviews, brand directories, ingredient and materials explainers, and recommendations for lower-tox alternatives. Topics include water filters, food storage, personal care, organic clothing, exercise gear, PFAS-free outdoor equipment, and seasonal guides. The Filtery also publishes a weekly email newsletter and offers a free checklist to help readers begin a low-tox lifestyle. Through accessible research and practical resources, the platform aims to help curious consumers make more informed purchasing decisions without making the process feel unnecessarily difficult or expensive.
