## Description

The Foundry Boxing Club is a boxing and fitness club in Grey Lynn, Auckland, offering classes for people at different stages of their boxing journey. Its programme combines boxing skills, conditioning and community, helping members build fitness, strength and confidence through coached training.

Boxfit is a 45-minute workout featuring boxing bag work and bodyweight and weighted exercises. Boxing Fundamentals develops technique and tactics through partner drills, pad work and bag work, while the small-group Boxing Basics Intro covers stance, movement, punch rotation, the basic six punches and pad-holding. Pad Tech focuses on combinations, footwork, distance and accuracy with a partner. Ironworks offers circuit-based strength and conditioning using kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls and bodyweight exercises.

The club also runs Youth Boxing, which aims to foster confidence, respect, discipline, resilience and courage, as well as Foundry Fighters sessions for corporates, amateur and professional fighters preparing for the ring. Sparring sessions are available for novices and fighters, with trainer enquiries or invitations required for participation.
