## Description

Gigs is a live-music platform that connects artists, venues and fans, bringing local shows together in one place and helping emerging performers reach audiences beyond their hometowns. Available through apps for iOS and Android, the service supports gig discovery, booking and promotion.

Artists can create a profile, add shows they have already booked, apply for opportunities posted by venues and promote upcoming performances to potential fans. Venues can showcase events on verified profiles, confirm gigs submitted by artists and post available gig slots to find performers for future shows. Fans can explore nearby live music or discover performances while travelling.

Gigs uses Google Maps to help users find shows and connect music communities across locations. Its stated coverage includes Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. By bringing artist and venue tools together with fan-facing discovery, Gigs aims to simplify the process from finding an opportunity to attending a performance. The platform presents itself as a single destination for discovering local music wherever users are.
