## Description

The Global Fund is a worldwide partnership working to defeat AIDS, tuberculosis (TB) and malaria and build a healthier, safer and more equitable future. It raises and invests more than US$4 billion annually in over 100 of the countries most affected by these diseases, supporting effective health programs and stronger health systems. Since 2002, the organization has disbursed more than US$65 billion in grants to countries, making it the world’s largest multilateral funder of global health grants in low- and middle-income countries.

The Global Fund works with governments, communities, civil society, donors, implementing partners, the private sector and technical organizations to identify and scale solutions. Its funding supports prevention, testing, treatment and care for HIV, TB and malaria, as well as resilient health systems, community health services, laboratories, digital health and pandemic preparedness. The organization also addresses issues that affect health outcomes, including human rights, gender equality and antimicrobial resistance.
