## Description

The Good Climb is a five-hour endurance challenge held in Ellicottville, New York, designed for athletes of all ages and abilities. Its mission is to support better mental health through physical activity, helping participants build resilience, reduce stress and anxiety, and discover what they are capable of. Proceeds benefit Horizon Health Services.

Participants choose from three routes with different difficulty levels, trekking up Exhibition Run at HoliMont ski club and riding the chairlift back down before climbing again. The event encourages people to push beyond their comfort zones in a welcoming, supportive community and also offers an opportunity for athletic and corporate team building.

The experience includes awards for top finishers, medals for all finishers, event merchandise, a catered lunch, beverages, music, and opportunities to cheer on participants as a spectator. The Good Climb also highlights Ellicottville’s outdoor recreation and local businesses, inviting visitors to explore the area. The event is taking a year off and looks forward to welcoming participants again in 2027.
