## Description

The Great Northern Armory is a veteran-owned leather workshop founded and run by a U.S. Air Force veteran. Based in Andover, Minnesota, the business handcrafts Viking-inspired leather armor in the United States, emphasizing durability, practical function, fit, and long-term wear. Its work is intended as usable gear rather than costume, with design choices that balance performance and appearance.

Each piece is cut, shaped, embossed, gilded, assembled, stitched, and finished by hand using traditional leatherworking techniques. Leather and hardware are sourced in the United States and selected for strength and suitability for armor-grade construction. The workshop prioritizes structural integrity and careful inspection over mass production, and releases are planned in limited quantities.

The Great Northern Armory also serves first responders, with custom radio strap commissions available, and features a K9 Gear offering. Customers can explore the gallery and contact the workshop for information. The company invites visitors to sign up for email updates about early access, behind-the-scenes content, new releases, and special offers.
